The same thing happened with Anna Torv and John Noble for five years, so I wouldn't really count on it, to be honest. It most definitely does suck.

Zooey Deschanel is not an MPDG, because an MPDG is a FICTIONAL CHARACTER type and it's kind of shitty to refer to actual human beings as MPDGs?

I concur, @avclub-e5b4fef159d90a480b1961cef89a17b7:disqus and @avclub-17a86e5bccfa95d233a1ee0e5702736a:disqus !

I love them both!

Nah! I'm sure you can find more than a few people who agree, including me.

I'm giving it an A, if only for Ben talking about Fringe (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

I'm guessing that's Star World.

Did you watch the Doctor Who previews? I don't thing Moffat's even trying anymore, honestly.

It also kind of felt out of character, at least to me. Isn't the whole point the beginning of this season was trying to make that Stefan valued Elena's 'humanity' above everything else, so she felt inadequate or whatever?

Please. Damon doesn't love Jeremy or Caroline. You don't kill/rape the people you love. He doesn't love Bonnie either. He doesn't care about any of these people unless it somehow involves getting into Elena's good books. It's just yet another attempt to make Damon seem like a misunderstood puppy.

I just wish Caroline had her own show.

Yes. People loving, caring about and supporting each other is definitely the worst thing ever. Positivity sucks. Destroy all the happiness!

I teared up so much at that. This is a comedy! WHY IS IT MAKING ME FEEL THESE THINGS? (I love it, though)

Yeah, Britta was great in this one.

I didn't know being a fan entailed worshipping everything the show does.

Oh, I completely agree that her role wasn't memorable at all. (I wrote a huge paragraph about that above, actually) It's just unlike the AV club to not make some comment about banging her in some capacity, at the very least. I guess it just goes to show how much people love this show.

Oh no, don't get me wrong, I love Community! I'm just referring to a semi-debate I had over there regarding Parks vs Community.

I liked Britta in this episode.
Besides it being almost painfully unfunny, something I hated about this episode was just how flimsy the execution of the whole Inspector Spacetime thing was. It literally had no deeper point to make apart from, "Look, Abed really likes Inspector Spacetime!" That's not Community.

I was just kind of grinning like an idiot throughout the whole first episode. (And I definitely teared up in some places, too) The second episode was hilarious as well.

Believe me, I know what you mean. It was really annoying to me in the beginning of this season, and it had actually started to put me off the show, but..I don't know. It just makes me too happy. I couldn't dislike it for long.
