It's not like Damon's never killed anyone. Stefan's actions as the Ripper were horrible, but at least he's shown a LOT of remorse for it. He's constantly punishing himself for that. It's a significant part of what drives his character.

Ugh. That's terrible. I don't understand how anyone can see that and justify Damon's actions, and admonish Caroline for being leery of him.

Damon took advantage of Caroline's insecurities. It's not the same as rape, but it's pretty horrible.

I'm with you. I don't think Stefan is a super awesome dude, either, not even close, but they've definitely made him a lot more unlikeable this season to service the Damon/Elena romance. It's not really an inorganic development, per se, but I can't help feeling that the real motive is to make Damon seem like the good…

I can understand why Caroline would glorify Stefan. Unlike in the case of Stefan, she has personal reasons to hate Damon. However, I'm quite disappointed by how the show is handling that whole thing. Caroline is just a voice of morality or whatever, and what's weird is that ONE scene referring to the rape incident…

That still doesn't make it okay. Caroline was extremely insecure in the first season, and she was just really kind of happy to have the hot new guy "interested" in her. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't have been so consensual if she had known he was planning to use her as his personal blood bag. I found the whole situation…

Caroline is perfectly entitled to hate Damon, and not think that he's good for her best friend. She's not being a 'bitch'.

Cece's like the Ann Perkins of New Girl. Thing is, I kind of like Cece more than Ann as it is, so it makes me a bit sad to think of all that lost potential.
