Actually, at this point, I think they could maybe pull that off, as well. I really like their friends-who-are-sometimes-attracted-to-each-other dynamic, though. I'd PREFER it if they kept it that way, but I'm not completely against them getting together.

I love her too. I don't know why she's still getting all this hate. She was definitely very annoying in the beginning, but that was when, as you said, she wasn't really a character, just a collection of quirks. Now she feels a lot more realistic, and I'm also really beginning to enjoy those quirks, instead of finding

I kind of feel closer to New Girl's ensemble, too. Don't get me wrong, I love everyone on Happy Endings, but I love them more as sitcom characters. Nick, Jess, Schmidt, Winston and Cece definitely have a few sitcom-y aspects to them, especially Schmidt, but they also feel more realistic to me. They just seem more like

I completely agree. I especially love how they've handled the whole Nick/Jess thing. I really love how they can joke about stuff like, say, Nick fathering Jess's kid. It feels very natural and realistic. Most other shows would build up this whole sexual tension thing between them and have all kinds of super contrived

The New Girl party scene is what actually introduced me to the song. It's one of my favourite songs of the year.

Martin Freeman's a good actor, but he's kind of an asshole, too. I know, I know, they're supposed to be two separate things, but the shitty things he's said (the things people justify as 'British humour!') are pretty much all that comes to mind every time I see him in anything now. I just can't bring myself to like

Oh, I'm glad @avclub-954aef1dd01f3d3bb8e12966116cfdd1:disqus mentioned Parenthood. I agree completely. It's been having a great season.

Exactly what I was going to say, @avclub-323ca7b091beb1b26cc7a2612f1475d5:disqus .

Basically everything @avclub-057859d502ee9201857e867efb89d225:disqus and Call Me Carlos the Dwarf (DISQUS!) said. Besides, I think the 'Ben losing his job' thing was excellent, because in any other show it would have been the woman who had to give up her job.

I prefer Leslie. I love Liz Lemon too, though.
