I've just concluded that the Observers don't take the resistance seriously. They torture people they suspect every now and then just to keep the rest of them scared, but I think Winmark especially gets some perverse kind of pleasure in seeing the Resistance struggle. He seems very, very confident and convinced that

I loved the reboot, too. I thought it was super interesting what they did with the characters. It was a fascinating insight into how important Peter really is to these characters' lives, and it brought up some really great ideas about home, identity and memory.

Wow, I really hope the graffiti is foreshadowing. In one of the episodes, they focused on 'lake' which was graffitied on one of the bins or something. Makes me think Reiden Lake will be making a comeback..

I've seen a few set pictures with her in them, so I think she'll be showing up soon. I sure as hell hope so. I miss her awesome silver hair.

Yes yes yes a million times yes. I don't blame people who want to see their favourite characters shine, really, because last seasons usually bring out those feelings in full force, but I'm really feeling this storyline, not just for Peter, but for all the characters. It's a beautiful and interesting reversal of roles

I love Olivia to death, but I personally think she's had plenty of chances to shine throughout the series. I don't mind them letting Peter take the center stage at all, and I would maybe be more concerned about it if I didn't think they were doing some really wonderful work with Olivia, emotions-wise. What we're

'Ignored' is a stretch. She took a backseat this episode, sure, but that's hardly ignoring. Ignoring is what they're doing to Astrid.

I don't agree with you at all, @avclub-a84cf2d984ed2eb7948b9fda85275a7f:disqus , in that they were running out of things to do with Olivia - and I think being able to come to terms with the fact that you are going to die sooner than you'd like, and you may not be able to do a single thing about it does count as

I thought the exact same thing. Mostly because it isn't like Fringe to not at least make an attempt to flesh out its MoTW characters, for want of a better term, even in the least engaging of standalones. It definitely felt to me like it was intentional. Astrid, though, not so much..
