So what do you all think of Amy and Rory's era, if you could call it that, in Doctor Who? There were many episodes I enjoyed quite a bit, and others that I really loved, but in retrospect, I think there was a lot of squandering of potential and that's really frustrating to me.

EXACTLY! I found the angels creepy in this episode, but if Moffat's going to keep making rules (the image of a weeping angel turns into a weeping angel, for example), and later retconning them, the weeping angels are slowly going to get less and less creepy. I don't get it, why does he keep changing things and making

Yes, and that whole 'fight' felt so pointless. I felt like it was there solely for the basis of that stupid "It's called marriage, honey" line. Ugh Moffat, we get it, you like cliched marriage jokes, now please stop.

Peter's guilt also really got me.

I loved that scene so much, a lot because of this, and also because it was so in character for them, to just be able to talk to each other about it. And something else that broke my heart was how understanding Olivia was. It would have been so easy to go down the unnecessary bickering and tension path, but what

Exactly. Objectively, it might not be the best show on television, but it sure as hell is my favourite.

Seriously, don't think about it, because if you do, a plethora of plot holes suddenly show up. Besides the actual Statue of Liberty itself, what about all the people who buy Statue of Liberty postcards?  Isn't the image of a weeping angel supposed to turn into a weeping angel, too? Shouldn't basically anyone who has

@avclub-b9a25e422ba96f7572089a00b838c3f8:disqus Bleh, I didn't even care enough about Jessup to see her tossed off in a glorious fashion.
Eh? She was only in one episode.
NO!!! I had successfully erased that from my mind. Thank you for putting that in there again.

@avclub-83de02c3cfc3634de1279cbc17a8fbae:disqus It doesn't make much sense, of course. But I just assumed that DRJ wanted to make himself known to the Fringe Division, to just kind of shake them up, you know? He was kind of weird and narcissistic that way. And he wanted Olivia anyway, so maybe he just wanted to get to

@avclub-71e4c161d594d58da9f94e5c5c653bc1:disqus YES. And the bridge would still be open, and characters from Community would make cameos in Fringe (I could totally see Abed and Alternate Astrid hitting it off) and then the Doctor would also join in and they'd all go to all kinds of places and times in the TARDIS and
