The thing about Fringe is, most of the plots they dropped are plots I didn't even care about in the first place. For example, Amy Jessup. I like Meghan Markle well enough, but she really just felt like a stand-in for Olivia and I was in no hurry for her to come back or anything.

Yeah, I liked it, actually. Unlike a lot of people around these parts, I've accepted that the occasional cheese is really a part of the show. Plus John Noble totally sold it, and as you said, I liked that it related to that flashback, too.

The "Resistance is futile" actually made me think of them as Dalek-like (ergo, shitty) villains, but I thought the interrogation scene with Windmark was very chilling and Big Brother-esque. So yeah, they're scary as long as they don't say stuff like "Resistance is futile".

Lincoln was a third wheel type of character for a while there, as I said, but I really liked those episodes in which he went over the the Alternate Universe. I really enjoyed his interactions with AltLincoln and AltLivia, and I liked Lincoln's whole arc last season, too. And I absolutely LOVED AltLincoln.

I did the same thing a few weeks ago, actually, when I was rewatching season 4 and suddenly realized just how much I would miss him. Not only do I really like his face, he also did some excellent work as the two Lincolns last season.
