Sometimes you gotta ride the cold out, but for comfort, I like a hot ginger and lemon tea. If you are well enough or have someone to boil root ginger, even better.

To me, as well. There are lots of good threads, but too often I find myself sorting through discussions of "do we see boobs" in order to talk about a film or show, which I realize some people don't view as negative :) Like the Neutral Milk Hotel tour thread I just skipped - I'm excited to see them but there was just…
I also think that about processed food. I think I generate as much garbage at work from tea bag and vending food wrappers than all my food waste at home, since there most things can be recycles or composted. I also don't understand why people don't appreciate the value of living in a clean neighborhood. Litter bugs…
Providence has a pretty good music scene and Al Forno is a top-notch restaurant.
He did, but kept it a secret from the audience/camera crew if I remember correctly.
Yeah, I thought the general consensus. I was surprised to see the other comment that there was no good A Little Princess adaptation.
Are you watching The Next Food Network Star? This show is driving me crazy this year.

That's why Keep On Rolling is my go-to REO Speedwagon song!
Probably no one cares, but here we go:Medically this is known as hydrocele, and it really isn't that uncommon. In the U.S., yes, but in many parts of the world, where lymphatic filariasis is common, many men have this condition, if not to this extent.
Over 150 comments and not one of them says "more like fapping for all the wrong reasons!"? You're letting me down, AVClubbers.
I feel like REO Speedwagon is somehow brought up in every HateSong comment section, then I spend the rest of the day singing Keep On Rolling all day long, which is I guess better than singing "Can't Fight This Feeling" but not much.
Big River!!
Oh, has it really been 10 years? That is so depressing. Thanks for this lovely piece, Erik. You really excel at the music pieces despite being so depressingly young.
Yep, I'm a Manchester grad! I went to a CoB there and in Indianapolis but when I moved out of IN I didn't find any churches there. So I'm not really Anabaptist, but I have gotten a lot of mileage out of that experience. I was in line once with my teenage niece and nephew at Cedar Point at there were some kids in…
