My first thought as well (although in my neighborhood it's coyotes).
My first thought as well (although in my neighborhood it's coyotes).
Last Tuesday I got a message from a guy asking if there was a particular reason I had looked at his profile but not returned a message, so we started IMing for a while and he seemed nice. Then over the weekend I sent him a message then got a message back saying sorry, he was seeing someone. Which is fine, but am I…
It's one thing to have read Dan Brown, it's another thing to advertise the fact.
I'm camping this weekend with some friends and am wanting to cook something over a campfire more sophisticated than potatoes in foil. My thought is some wild-caught salmon with salt and pepper and some roasted asparagus. It's just car-camping, so I can bring my cast-iron skillets with me. This is pretty reasonable,…
The hour-long show starting on the half-hour looks really odd to me.
I said it was a great Kroger wine :)
I look forward to Erik's TVClub on the NBA Finals:
David Brent telling his supervisor* "don't go in the warehouse" to avoid the sexist comments and her response of "don't tell me where I can and can't go in my own company" was the first true recoil moment for me in that show.
I find Hot Girl incredibly unmemorable. I seem to remember purses being involved.
Same!
I've seen most episodes of this show several times and that episode is too much for me to watch again.
Lee! Yes, Roy was definitely a more nuanced character and at least really loved Pam.
It was a great showcase for the tension between Jim and Roy. I would say this action exposition on their relationship was an improvement on the British version, when Dawn's fiance (ack - can't remember his name! Still Roy?) is a jerk to Tim in the warehouse.
In Dinner Party, Jan thanks Pam for the wine Pam brought by saying "this will be great to cook with" which I find cringe-worthy since I once (drunkenly) told someone at a wine tasting that the wine they brought was "a great Kroger wine". But seriously, we've all had Yellow Tail, don't bring it to a fucking wine…
"Basketball" is one of my favorite early episodes. I kind of like dick-ish Michael in this. I'm not sure I would have enjoyed him over 7+ seasons, but I thought this was a pretty good episode.
Liked for "satyrical".
I love how he just keeps randomly pushing people out of frame.
I was with you until I watched the video.
Same here and therefore I love it.
Yes, that was a very odd thing to say. It's catchy, but creepy as hell.
