As soon as I posted it I thought "oh, that's a nice generalization!"  I think the real moral of the story is that many of my friends are unbelievably vain and all I really want to do on a Saturday night is play Scrabble so why the hell am I at this loft party?

I was at a party with a bunch of gay guys the other night and they were going on and on about their work-out routine and their paleo diets (no birthday cake for them!) and all I could think was "wow, it must suck to be a fat gay dude."

The burning!!

Not to start a fight, but why should a woman have to act diplomatically to essentially being groped?  Why is it so hard to expect guys you aren't actually dating to keep their fucking hands to themselves?

Yeah, I wouldn't take it too personally.  Online dating sites are so weird - I'll get chatting with a guy then not be on the site for a week, just because I got busy/depressed about dating/my computer's on the fritz/I'm catching up with Hannibal.

I'm game!!

I find it hard to believe that someone who spends such a large portion of his time trying to get laid has never figured out that a guy who cooks is a huge turn on to chicks.

I was sure I had heard that as well.

When did acronyms start requiring periods?  Isn't the point of it being an acronym that it now becomes a word?  Do you type N.A.T.O.?  L.A.S.E.R.?  Will I ever type something that isn't a question? Isn't there some book where ever single sentence is a question?  Wouldn't that be the most freaking annoying thing to

I was so pleased to see Echo Kellum (aka the black guy from Ben and Kate).  I hope this show improves.

Well, he did just get back from a Gulag.  Those people only get Jean Doumanian-era SNL.

I've never seen 2 Broke Girls.  No wonder it gets so much hate here if it is as terrible as the Dads preview.

I definitely laughed at the trailer, but I only enjoy Andy Samburg in VERY small doses.  This could wear thin quickly.

Mission: Impossible seems too obvious and high-profile.  Maybe The Brady Bunch Movie, which was goofily fun (plus:  Gary Cole!).

Would it kill NBC to warm it up?

The Americans is one of those shows that I watch, and recognize that it is a good show, well-acted, good stories, etc, but for some reason it seems like a chore.  The episodes seems 2.5 hours long.  Hannibal in theory is a slower-paced show, yet I find it completely enthralling.

I am regretting giving up on Arrow after the first ep (which wasn't even bad, I just thought I had too many shows to watch).  I'm hoping it ends up on Netflix before S2 starts.

I'm guessing the end of the last episode and season finale of P&R where SPOILERS Leslie is faced with a recall campaign and Ron's gf needs to talk to him (about being preggers).

I went to a Deep Dark Woods concert last year and when I stopped by the merch table in between acts the guys working at it was shocked to find out that not only had I heard of DDW - who was headlining - but that I'd even seen them twice previously.

I am pretending that "spoliers" is French for "spoilers" and is a nod to the death of a Frenchman.
