I made the mistake of just picking up a couple of bras "in my size" without trying them on.  I wore one yesterday and had to undo it for a while because I felt like I was being suffocated.

Why not just fry some catfish or other white fish and slap it between two pieces of bread.buns with whatever fixings you like?  Better to each the whole fish than whatever fish meal is served at many fast food places.

@K.Thrace - buy some cream of tartar, make some snickerdoodles, take them to work, receive the everlasting gratitude of your friends and co-workers.

I definitely feel like the person who released that VM was in the wrong far more than Baldwin was.

I was on the fence before, but the whole "a special place in hell for women who don't support other women" pushed me onto the hate side.  I'll support talented, smart people of whatever gender and that doesn't mean I'm not a feminist.

I didn't realize they were doing it live so far back. They definitely have made an effort to make it more suitable for all (or most) ages.  One of the times they pulled a 12-year old or so up for one of the songs.

Well, the U.S. Whose Line was a reboot of the british version and was pretty darned funny.

I saw the live version in 2011 and 2012 and the lineup was Ryan, Colin, Jeff Davis, and Chip Esten.

I"m not sure where I first heard This Be The Verse, but it got me into Larkin, who is definitely one of my favorite 20th century poets.  My favorite is Mother, Summer, I:

@avclub-e57f718840a576abbb40a7d046c4e3b0:disqus I was just teasing since everyone on these threads is quoting AD but you :)

I guess you were too busy collecting stories to watch Arrested Development, @avclub-e57f718840a576abbb40a7d046c4e3b0:disqus or are you being willfully ignorant of these here?

Thanks @avclub-e14267dedd4e1d0cc0093bc13643fd59:disqus  - I also was confused about the "let them starve" vibe that I got from that comment.  What you say definitely makes sense.

Why, oh why, did I buy 10,000 spoons!!!

The comments in Tom's blog are unusually cruel about LCK and Kristen.  It's not like they instituted LCK to bring Kristen back specifically.  She is obviously an amazing chef - even the other contestants were slightly in awe of her in some of the earlier eps (sponge cake in the foil challenge comes to mind).  I like

I wear almost nothing but sweaters all winter and so I don't really feel dressed up in them.  I feel like I have gone to numerous weddings dressed like I am on a business trip.  Maybe I'll order a few dresses online and have the commenters here vote on my outfit :)

Hoooooooly shit.  Glad you actually made it to a hospital somehow.

I have decided not to do hot yoga since I get light-headed too easily but I have kept to my pilates and yin yoga classes. I need to incorporate some aerobics and was thinking about starting a rowing regimen.  But in general I have been feeling really very good compared to just a few months ago.

What do people think of long-sleeved dresses?  I have a mid-April wedding to go to and all of my dresses are sleeveless for the hot Georgia summers, but I also get cold really easily.  What about a shirtdress like this:  http://www.bodenusa.com/en-…  ?  Too casual?

I essentially wear two pairs of shoes all winter - some black Dansko's and brown boots (currently Timberland).  I figure that's almost $350 in footwear right there, so if they don't like it, they can not look at my feet.

Oh my God, yes yes yes to Grep Proops!  Or the whole Whole Line Is It Anyway cast.
