"He's just saying it wasn't the specific Rapture and that we shouldn't lionize the departed."

Good points, but I do think many versions of Christianity embrace immorality and cruelty, if (the argument goes) it is done for some higher purpose.

Ya, one thing about "Walkabout" although I really liked the episode, they never did explain why the island cured Lockes paralysis.

I agree that was an excellent episode. Terry Quinn did such an excellent job in expressing the frustration of his character. I think it was also a foreshadowing of what an A-hole Locke will end up being.

really? I didn't notice that, I will have to look again. I thought that whole sequence was well done.

"I would think a national calamity of 2% of the population being air lifted causing collateral damage by unmanned vehicles, accidents and the like would have been more than covered. That this would be the reason for his financial distress is supremely bogus."

No, I think they just mentioned one. But in three years they would have replaced them, even if they did all vanish.

That would be quite clever if it is intentional.

I was hoping the sister was going to laugh and tell him they had an open marriage anyways and she know all about…in fact she was also fooling around with his wife. Take that Job!!!

I believe it is $2500, not sure about that however.

You are right…that whole scene was fantasy.

Ya, I don't see why he wouldn't just buy a double-wide and an acre of land and start his own church. Could buy a new copier as well.

I don't know. Another B episode I think. I think the reviewer did a good dub explaining the Rev's quandary, and C. Eccleston was magnificent as usual. He would make an excellent straight up villain! The Casino thing was kind of specious, especially the assault. Those places have cameras everywhere, and security

Yes, it was. I liked that opening sequence it kind of hooked me for the show. It was nice to see this flashback from a slightly different perspective.

ATFC

Was the Sheriff present when someone disappeared? (his mistress?)

I get where you are…I still like the characters enough to see where it is going. I do wish they would get rid of the Teenage best friend however. Or maybe all of the teenagers.

"the interest of a male member…" Heee heee he

What's up is that the Mayor is yummy!!

I loved twin peaks (ironically…given your nickname…I also loved "The Haunting") I don't think anything since has quite equaled that first season.
