Yeah, not having a Tucker equivalent is justified.  There's just no space for that in the US system because the US system doesn't work like that - the PM doesn't have such extensive powers to fire and appoint Cabinet members at will so he wouldn't be able to monster them.  I liked Tucker, but The Thick of It was more

I love the scene where they're in the back of the ministerial car trying to dream up a popular, zero-cost, relevant policy.

Owning child pornography doesn't make one a child molester but it does make one complicit in other's child molesting - the children abused in child porn are only abused because there's a demand for it.  So by buying the images, you're creating more demand, and encouraging other people to molest children in the future.

The irony is they seem to have cast the new guy on the basis of his being enormous (Ian Whyte is even taller than Conan Stevens) but they tend to shoot him in ways that don't really emphasise it.

I'm pretty sure that wasn't their choice though - they wanted Conan but he passed.

@underscorex:disqus Given how poorly Westeros has been served by its Kings, with Joffrey, Robert and the Mad King, I think a King who's merely effective but not good would be a massive improvement on past form.  Stannis would only have to be mostly OK to be the greatest King in two generations.

He really liked that one Disney movie about the girl who's told that she isn't as good as a boy but with wit and gumption and the help of shitty ethnic stereotypes she learns to wield a sword and fight alongside the men and defeats the bad guy and wins the day, so he's really excited to see it again but live action.
