I'm pretty sure there is a reason Jonah A) got picked to be the messenger to the Veep and B) seems to enjoy the job so much.

Yeah, generally John Nance Garner's "not worth a cup of warm piss" is a pretty good summary.  Gore pretty much demanded a real policy-making role in exchange for being selected, and Cheney capitalised massively on 9/11.  (I'm not sure how powerful Cheney was in the eight months between inauguration and 9/11, I know he

Some say he's half man, half fish.  Some say it's more of a 60/40 split.  But whatever it is, he's one fishy bastard.

Can't they just declare him mentally incompetent to reign, like George III?  So Cersei would keep her power as Regent, but Joffrey's commands wouldn't mean shit.

I think when that actor was born the midwife said "Well, I hope in fifty years time there's a TV series that needs somebody to play a creepy magician dude, because otherwise he's going to need to be really good at flipping burgers"

He's Lilly Allen's brother!  Truefax!

Not bad, but obviously the best Joffrey death scenario is that somebody slaps him so hard his head just falls clean off his body.

Maybe the re-appearance of the dragons light some kind of magical spark?  I mean, could they be the cause, not just the first symptom?

He's been my favourite character ever since his first appearance.

I THOUGHT SO

Who is "You're so vain" about?

Agreed, providing they don't talk about how much they love the Death character.

His version of Tonto is kind of goth.

The internet ladies love a one-sixteenth cherokee man, can't blame the guy for milking it.

Yep.  It just seemed so much like one of those films that Elfman's non-involvement was incidental.

Nailed it.

I remember it being a fairly upretentious action-y romp, which is the exact opposite of what Burton gets up to these days.  So, not brilliant, but I don't regret watching it and its head was only slightly inside its own arse, which counts for a lot when the Burton/Depp combo is in evidence.

This is the most insightful comment about gender I've read from somebody whose userpic is a raccoon with oversized testicles.

For me Sweeney Todd was the first time when I actively thought to myself "Oh great, another Depp/Burton/Elfman" film.
