My favorite song of the year is "Modern Hearts" by The Knocks as sung by St Lucia (St Lucia's debut album, though only half new in 2013 is in my top albums) Modern Hearts is the perfect club song in my fantasy world. Followed very closely by "Ice on the Dunes" by Empire of the Sun.

Love for Nanobots is appreciated. It reminds me very much of Apollo 18 what with the short burst of songs. TMBG are always awesome.

I love all the rest of Frightened Rabbit albums as well and though I like Pedestrian Verse I couldn't help but be disappointed in it as it wasn't as awesome as the rest. All the love it receives makes me think I'm missing something, but I would rather just go back to the other albums before that one.

I saw the horrifically terrible Wing Commander movie with Freddie Prinze Jr and Matthew Lillard in order to see the Episode I trailer. God was that movie bad.

I've never cared for Adam Sandler movies.

I also watched Wrath of Khan in High School. It was because my teacher was a Trekker. We also watched The Original Series Space Seed that introduced Khan as a precursor to the film. I'm pretty sure I was the only geek in class that appreciated it.

Luckily TMBG released a sequel to "Why Does the Sun Shine" on their Here Come Science album. I couldn't tell you how accurate that one is.

I totally got suckered into buying The Kraken Spiced Rum that was advertised on here a few weeks back. It's not bad with Apple Cider.
