Oliver Stone is one of my favorites at commentaries. There's almost no dead air, and he's so detailed that it seems like he rewatched the movie while taking notes prior to recording.

This is one of those films where even the raves make me not want to see it, and I've considered every previous Malick film to be a masterpiece. I loved all his prior films because I felt his flourishes were done in the service of his characters and story, and that they served the film better than a more conventional
