Psst, you're a bit behind on the news. It's already been renewed:

Best line: "She going into death!"

Elliott's going to be on Letterman in a couple weeks, presumably to promote the DVD set since I'm not aware of any other projects he has on the horizon.

His best scene ever on Homicide was when Lewis shows up at his house just as he's getting ready to host a party on Christmas eve. Lewis tells him he's going to have to leave his house for something work related. They then do a quick-cut montage of him just repeatedly whining "No!"

Well, I'm sure Scorsese didn't think too highly of Forsythe taking the lead role in that low-rent Raging Bull knockoff, although I have no idea if that occurred before or after being killed off this show.

Why is Slater doing this when he should be attempting to star in a quickly cancelled CBS show, thereby hitting for the network cycle?

I'll admit it, I only found the comment to be moderately funny but I liked it anyway because I want to be cool. Can we all hang out together now?

Yeah, that's a pretty wrongheaded interpretation of the film. A man who named names makes a movie that's all about the main character eventually doing the right thing by naming names, even if he's lambasted by some as being a rat, and that's somehow interpreted as a mea culpa?

90s Letterman was much more likely to make a non-show appearance than current day Letterman. He'll do occasional interviews, but I don't think he's done any actual "acting" since Man On The Moon, unless you want to count that one-line Simpson cameo he did last year.

"Do you think Letterman will do a cameo as well?"
