Season four was pretty much as bad as season three as bad as season five (Lithgow was good, sure, but they had no idea what they wanted to do with him). Only the first two can make any claim to be anything like "good," and two is pushing it a little.
I never really cared for anything else by Pentangle, but Basket of Light is a brilliant album, with the best version EVER of "House Carpenter." I am saddened.
