I don't know. I've been with Mia ever since she had to make the huge apology for wearing a Marines jacket wrong, and it was apparently a whole deal on the internets.

Man, I'm sorry I doubted you. That was a DOMINATING performance in Double Jeopardy. I had no idea what the Final Jeopardy Answer was.

Weird Episode.
I wish that there were a track listing somewhere of the songs that get played in this episode. There's always fantastic music. Thanks to the poster who named the Adele track.

Caitlin's sister did not come off the best during last night's show. I'm not really sure why. She looked really swollen and puffy, which I don't remember her looking that way during the audition segment they did.

Are dancers really "high-drama personalities"? Most of the dancers that I've worked with in the past (although to be honest, it was in a very different setting) tended to be good listeners and followed directions. Most dancers are always working in a collaborative environment, which is really different than the

Cat is introduced in small portions early in the show, which makes her inevitable takeover of the hosting duties that much more pleasurable once the show really gets rolling.

I don't know how anyone can hate Mia Michaels. Maybe it's just because I've been with her for three seasons, but the dancers really seem to love her, and she puts on great choreography in-season. She's the best thing about the show.

My wife thinks Natalie got booted because the judges believed that she wasn't attractive enough for the Top 20 (which was why she was booted for Katee last year, too), and they wanted to make a splash early.

Prediction: You don't win.

Here in Phoenix, Jeopardy airs at 4:30, and Wheel airs at 6:30. It's a fucking injustice to those people who have real jobs (not me) and want some challenging trivia.

Bad way to go out…
…but I'm hoping that we have a lot of good things ahead of us. I think it's really impossible to handicap the competition right now, because there are so many dancers that I don't think we got the opportunity to see.

I liked Arielle. She is the one contestant that I think was more appealing when she was dancing then she really was during her upfronts. I'm interested to see how far she gets in Vegas week, but I don't see her in the Top 20.

MS daughter was hot. Y'all are, apparently, fags. Also, she was a really solid dancer. She maybe wasn't as polished as some of the other dancers in her style, but she certainly had the tools to work with.

I wonder if we didn't see more hip-hop dancers because they were having a problem getting a lot of approvals for their audition music? Usually we see a ton of them who get through to choreography, and then get cut because they can't do anything else. Maybe they just have a huge crop of multi-talented hip-hoppers,

I have Infinite Jest sitting on my dining room table with two bookmarks on top of it. This is the summer that I read IJ.

Well, I was the first to wonder. But I'm going to Fail myself.

Am I the First to Wonder
Whether Vanessa Williams is a lesbian?

They have big dancers make it to Vegas sometimes, but they're rarely the finished products that the more refined dancers are. I think part of it is that if you're putting in the time you need to excel as an artist, you probably have a hard time keeping on that weight.

bee, this show is one that gets progressively better as the season progresses. Vegas week is 10x better than auditions, and the cutdown shows are 15x better than Vegas week.

I wouldn't worry about who's going on to Vegas, Geniveve.
I think that they give almost everyone the benefit of the doubt and send them to Vegas. Yes, the great performers in their genre get sent to Vegas for outstanding work in their form, but then they'll be cut on the first day. This happens every season.
