It's definitely cheaper to do it this way but I'm still bummed I didn't go this year. I did check out Jay-Z's set on YouTube, though. It was pretty solid.

BEST THINGS OVERHEARD AT BONNAROO
2004: Trey Anastasio says" I'd like to thank the Nashville Chamber Orchestra for helping me out this evening…" The guy behind me says to his friend "Dude, that must be one big ass chamber!"

@Lovecraft: If you need a Ween primer, here ya go:

@Vicente Padilla: Holy shit, "You Were the Fool" is goddamned amazing. As for the first three records, while they are very strange and discordant and what not the songs are solid. "Sorry Charlie" is one of the best country songs ever written and "Dr. Rock" and "Don't Get 2 Close 2 My Fantasy" are epic!

@zircona1: I'm pretty sure Deaner sings "Fluffy", not Gener.

Ween is one of the best bands of the past 20 years and they're still putting out great shit. Anyone hear "D.C. Won't Do You No Good"? Great stuff!

My favorite thing about LMFAO is that, in the video, Lil' Jon has no idea they're making fun of him.

"You're a good guy, mon frere. That means "brother" in French. I don't know why I know that. I took four years of Spanish!"

The only way this could work is if they moved the office itself to Mexico with Michael Scott's place being taken by Esteban Colberto.

Biscayne Bay? Chesapeake Bay? Massachusetts Bay? Mobile Bay? THERE ARE OTHER BAYS!

@Mike: I don't anticipate that it's become progressive at all, but I'm willing to bet the people there are a lot less 'Deliverance' and a lot more 'King of the Hill'. Plus, there's apparently some kick-ass whitewater there on the Coosa River so, I've got other reasons for going. Also, Columbus, AL is north of

@Stephen F. Austin: If anyone is going to war it's gonna be Alabama v.s. Georgia, and it'll be over WATER! Seriously, Google that shit.

Alabama: One of my favorites, great energy and beautiful people. Easy women.

Well, Mike, you've inspired me. With the weekend coming up, I'm going to take a little trip up to Weogufka. I'm serious. I want to see this. I'll report back on my findings. Also, "Three things a Southerner fears most: Rattlesnakes, Tornadoes, and Yankees with U-Haul Trailers"… that's kinda funny.

@Mike Strange: Also, I realize that you've presented some anecdotal evidence to back up your claim, but I think most of it is probably exaggerated or just straight-up bullshit. I live 60 miles away from Weofguka and, though I've never been there, I've never heard anything like that anywhere else 'round these parts.

@Mike Strange: I'll start it off with a quote from you: "Weofguka, AL, a town bedecked with Confederate flags and Bush/Cheney signs, and peopled with the most inbred DELIVERANCE-looking freaks I have ever seen".

Bob Riley went to Alabama. He's not an Auburn man. Also, he's an asshole.

War Eagle MOTHERFUCKERS! YEAH!

I was born in 1986. The #1 song in America on the day I was born was "Invisible Touch" by Genesis. Off to a great start.

Maybe he misspelled "comedy" on purpose so that Comedy Central's trending wouldn't go up if his tweet got re-tweeted a bunch. Wait, what the fuck just came out of my mouth?
