Yep! In a certain way it's "typical Rucka" so if you like Rucka, you'll probably like it … but Scott's art is fantastic.
Poison Ivy: It was totally weird seeing the GA cast drawn "normal" comic book style.
But Doctor Fate's biracial Egyptian-American hero is sooooooo boring. I blame Levitz's plotting. "Tell me this is all a dream! I'm just a med student! What am I supposed to do?" Shut up and put on the @#$%ing helmet!
I dropped Black Canary (despite liking the art) for just that reason.
Hey, some days it's a real power struggle. Like whenever I'm using Git. Nothing sexy about it, though.
Ah, good!
I've been enjoying the Archie reboot. It's basically a sit-com in comic book form.
Also the art in Black Magick is gorgeous.
GA is on my pull list, but honestly I don't know if I'd jump in with the Yearbook arc, which appears to be a bunch of unconnected stories. It's like they weren't sure what to do after the last arc finished. Also Karl Kershl's art was a big part of GA's appeal for me.
Donald Trump approves this message.
Well …. it's true they are brands, and I agree that sometimes limits their potential as characters.
DC has largely forgotten to tell stories with him
Hans Richter's book "Dada: Art and Anti-Art" is worth reading, it's an eye witness account of Dada from its beginnings in Zurich.
Yeah - I love Duchamp but his cool detachment is quite different from the Zurich/Berlin Dada movement.

That's a really interesting map … I stand corrected!
But those privately run prisons don't fill themselves!
Here in WA, the vote to legalize was basically Seattle = yes, the entire rest of the state = no.
I really liked the Azzarello run, but I almost think of it as being an alternate reality version of WW. He took the character in a very different direction. So I liked it as a self-contained story, even if it's not "true" to the character.
