Maybe he'll move on to a "Franny and Zooey" phase.

paper girls #3 which continued to drift from the charm of the first issue

- Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Mostly picked this up because my daughter likes dinosaurs. But it looks fun.
- Unbeatable Squirrel Girl #2. I felt like issue #1 was a slight drop-off in the humor quotient but #2 was back in form.
- Archie #3 - I thought Annie Wu did a good job picking up from Staples, but I guess

I loathe the "Very Useful" ideology in Thomas.

It was needed to fulfill the mandated snark quotient.

I guess FF is still canceled? Then again, so is She-Hulk, which frankly disappoints me more.

I don't understand the theory that Marvel would need to "sabotage" the X-Men franchise — if they are trying to get rid of it, couldn't they just stop publishing the titles?

When I grew up in NYC you would still occasionally see people with concentration camp serial numbers, so … yeah. The Holocaust is still (perhaps barely) living memory.

My kid loves that movie. I think it does a great job of showing how emotions work, which is something that 4-year-olds can find confusing and scary. That blew my mind as a kid too.

I don't know why they make dinosaurs "cute" in so many kids books and shows. The kids I know all like dinosaurs because they are goddamn dinosaurs!

Yes!!

Marital fidelity is one thing; but threatening to take the child away was a jerk move. Anyway it's Highsmith - just because it had happy ending doesn't mean there was no moral ambiguity.

When I was ten, my Force Commander vs Baron Karza wars were epic.

Very few people remember the Micronauts? Fuck I'm old. Those toys were awesome.
