Are you going to deny that Lex Luthor is a really smart guy??

Equals fewer complaints. That's the beauty of metrics!

I mean, Plato already thought of all that - but who decides what qualifies as "minimum competency"? Because if voting is important, then deciding who is competent enough to vote must be really important, and you wouldn't want just any random group of people to decide that. So let those people prove their competency

Evan Shaner's Convergence Shazam made me hope he would do a regular Shazam title.

I dunno … I loved Gilmore Girls, but I'm not sure this is particularly needed.

Maybe he's talking about the HTTP protocol.

That's my problem with the book (which I'm giving until the end of this arc) - I don't mind a plot that builds slowly if the characters are interesting. But I feel like you could swap all the dialog between any of the issues and they would read the same.

I'm in my 40s and wear a hoodie so … yeah actually I guess that's the target demo for comics…

Golden-age WW is great if you like (tolerate?) golden-age comics in general. What they lack in consistency, plotting, characterization, and plausibility, they make up for with gonzo nuttiness. And, it's genuinely feminist. (But often racist, unfortunately. See also: Golden-age comic.)

Blue Bloods is OK, except I hate the requisite family dinner scene, where they place all the heavy-handed moralizing for the episode.

Now Barnes & Noble is mostly toys, puzzles, calendars, journals, chocolate … very few books.

Back in the day, the interviews were really interesting.

I've been enjoying the Archie reboot - Was happy to see Annie Wu is taking over for Staples.

But Playmobil is not my go-to choice for learning about the horrors of actual world history.

The only comic on my pull list this week was Sensation Comics WW, which I haven't read yet. Meanwhile, I finished Marvel Masterworks: Avengers vol 1. I love Baron Zemo's glue obsession. Also: As far as I can tell, Wasp was completely useless for the entire 10 issues.

I feel sort of the opposite about Saga — I'm fine with the porn, testicles, and cursing, but the fun sci-fi aspect is lacking for me.

I thought I read somewhere that Fatale was originally supposed to end after the 2d trade? (If not — it should have.)

I read stuff like Lazarus or The Fade Out in trades, because I find that I can't follow the story lines when it's parsed out month-by-month.
