Bank robbing super-villains is one of the things that I love about the original Lee/Ditko run.

Why, would that disqualify him?

Agree - I dropped it after issue 3. I was liking Silk and Spider-Woman, so I'll probably jump back into those two.

Lisa Carver: You really never listened to the song? You aren't interested to know what
he thinks of your panties?

Was meant with a dose of sarcasm but I can see how it would construed as offensive.

So I should I stick with the series? Was thinking of picking up vol 2.

That's crazy because Psychocandy turns 30, and mentally I place them in completely different eras of my life. ("Obsessed with Pink Floyd" and "obsessed with the Velvet Underground," respectively…) That's the nature of adolescence, I guess.

Kind of on topic, I finished v1 of the Wolfman/Perez Teen Titans, and … the plotting seemed kind of random and haphazard. I like the characters well enough, but the stories don't make a ton of sense.

BB: "Why don't I ever get the important jobs?"
Cyborg: "Because you're not very good at stuff."

It's stupid any way, because old white rich people still own the legislature.

Morrison's DP sounds like a complete trip.

I picked up vol 1 - 5 cheap(ish) on eBay. (You didn't recently sell yours, did you?)

Doom Patrol!!! (Archives vol 1)

That said, I recently discovered that "Ram" is a great album. (I realize that's common knowledge… I had never paid much attention to McCartney's solo output, except what gets radio airplay, so I'd never heard it until recently.)

My favorite Squirrel Girl moment is the splash page where she has defeated Galactus with no explanation.

Hank Pym would like a word with you.

So it's like a barrier to entry. You must be this dumb.

I love when Fox News gets up in arms about Lady Thor or whatever, as if they have ever actually read a comic book.

My problem was they didn't really bother to motivate Dagger Type. It felt very tossed-off. I like the _idea_ of a Ziggy Stardust villain, they just didn't do much with it.

I feel like that complaint would have more merit if there had been diversity from the beginning. As it is … there's a finite number of titles, and correcting the imbalance means _somebody's_ favorite character will get fewer pages. The alternative is just to stick with the hetero-normative, lily-white status quo.
