If I weren't already a fan of Avey Tare prior to reading this, I would have become one the minute I saw he included "Phase IV" on this list.

Yeah I liked it too. Immediately after it was over I thought that 90% of my enjoyment was simply from Jeffery Combs' performance, but after I let it sink in for a few hours I realized I just enjoyed the whole thing in general.
Yup, I could never bring myself to fully dislike them because 1. "Aim & Ignite" is still an awesome record 2. "Dog Problems" is in my top 10 albums of the 2000s.
As I stated on Twitter, the first sentence of this article has thrown me into a full-on midlife crisis.
Who in the fuck downvoted czar's Commando comment? I DEMAND ANSWERS!!!!
Especially horror. I see people on my Facebook excited as hell for the Ft13th marathons on AMC, but why would you want to watch them butchered by editing? 90% of the fun in a Ft13th movie is watching teens get dispatched in hilariously violent ways.
"Let Sleeping Corpses Lie" is actually a great zombie film, despite the title.
@ Fake Plastic Trees
Yes but this is the first I've seen to mention Death Wish 3, so therefore it's the best one
My last name is Peacock (for real) so on one hand I love this episode because it's goddamn terrifying and on the other hand fuck it so hard for giving the family that name.
@avclub-421d91cd1f20d044be31c05a2908e03b:disqus Your wife is probably great and all, but never having seen the glory of "Commando" should not a point of pride for anyone.
It's second only to "sheeple" as the word that will make me disregard everything that person says afterward.
Lemmings? Seriously?
@avclub-0304234e5dac07d007cf06c22b3f29c4:disqus No, but only because paparazzo are legitimately reprehensible human beings
Even more so because it opens with "Crawl", which isn't just the only good track on the album, but is genuinely awesome on its own merits.
I mildly agree with your flow-chart (aside from the fact I would place BotT slightly higher than ASH, and drop ObtN all the way down there with CAS because those albums are terrible), and I can tell you this is worth checking out. It's not bad at all. It's slightly frustrating because they show some of the spark…
I just logged in for the first time in weeks to say this made me laugh out loud.
I don't know, there aren't many things that scream "rebellion" like fucking Chad Kroeger.
It leaked a long time ago, and it's very good.
Pusha-T is the new Method Man. Let me finish.
