Kinda pissed the album isn't going to be named "B'Gorde" actually.

Yeah this is missing just about everything I loved about Lorde's first album. The sparse and occasionally abrasive music, the unique worldview that combined youthful optimism with a sort of weird preemptive world-weariness, the intimacy of the performance, etc. Hoping the rest of this album is way better than this,

I wear cargo cult shorts. They're not real cargo shorts, but they look pretty similar.

I just saw Jack Reacharound, which turns out to be a very different kind of movie?

What's tatums, precious?

I am watching this on a plane right now. This movie really fucking sucks, good lord. It just has utter contempt for every single character and the audience.

I hate Tree Of Life so much that I want to see it again because I can't believe how much I hated it. Like, a lot of people I know with generally good taste seem to think it's an amazing movie, but it just completely fell flat with me. I want to try it again absent the huge expectations I had for it the first time

You had me at exclusive snatch

Man imagine how awesome this would be if they'd written a good song to go with their new props.

Right? Maybe I'm old, but I mostly just seem to get invites to blowjob brunches.

Heroes leaps immediately to mind. Not that the debut was THAT great, but holy hell did it crash and burn spectacularly. Twice.

I loved the first one and this one looks fun, but I seriously want to throw Baby Groot into a woodchipper.

Dang, get in my eyeballs already.

This album was massively influential for me as a musician as well. I came up in a very garage-punk sort of stripped-down scene that really valued simplicity and shouting, and any chord that wasn't a straight up major or minor was greeted with "what the fuck are you doing?" This is the first album I ever heard that

I think we might want to review what "life-size" actually might mean for a bee.

Actually first heard it December of last year, but I'm going to go with Perfume Genius - Too Bright. Fucking hell that album is a masterpiece.

You know how in Westworld there are places and things that are just completely written out of the robots' perception? Like you can point right at them and the robot will say "Where? I don't see anything." That's how I feel when people talk about the appeal of U2.

I saw these guys on tour for this album with Run DMC back when I was 13 or 14 years old. Pretty much the best night of my life up to that point, and when my older sister came to pick me up from the show I was high as fuuuuuuuccckkk.
