In Jean Auel's books about the evolution (set 30,000 years ago) of Neanderthal to Cro-Magnon she had them on the planet at the same time and at odds with one another so the Neanderthals were called flatheads and breeding with them was considered a low and filthy occurrence 

and it got boring even from the standpoint of the hot prehistoric couple - first 3 books good and rereadable - last 3 ugh

the actress playing Flo is just glad to have the gig and is going to enjoy it while it lasts

so right, they show part of each singing performance but then the crappy judges comments almost intact - ugh

also isn't Jimmy Iovine now an unmentor based on what he's been doing in recent weeks - it's almost as bad as past years with all those various people coming on for country week, rock week, etc.

good actors also singing the songs does work - in Coal Miner's Daughter Sissy Spacek as Loretta Lynn with Beverly D'Angelo as Patsy Cline went very well with them doing the actual singing (as opposed to Jessica Lange having the songs dubbed in for Sweet Dreams)

Roger either needs to get back with Mona (and they're a couple in real life, too) or be with Joan who really does get him - then she'd have money and could persue her heart - although she's really good at her job so they need her at SCDP
