you're so right - it's ultimately about who Donald wants as the Apprentice because they will be someone he wants to bring back for judging, overseeing of a task and the interview process - though I'd rather see Ivanka, Don and even Eric handle the interview grilling - they'd get in their digs

I flip back and forth to a Nationals baseball game so do recommend that as a strategy to coping with the endless filler (the chatter, the duets and the group song) and way too many commercials and Fox promos - ugh

this show was certainly about mindless entertainment when you were tired and home from work and didn't want to think about anything and maybe there would be enjoyable guest stars or pretty ports of call to enjoy - what else was on so that this stayed on the air so long?  can't remember

and can we all agree that this was another insightful review by Claire as well as continued good commentary throughout the thread

and always with these shows the final result will be what music they record, if people want to buy it to listen to it and whether they get a singing career out of this whole thing

and when Jessica delivered that killer second performance the judges still blah blahed that it was hers or Joshua or Phillip's to win

I still like Marcus Canty on X-Factor better than what Joshua's been doing - as for Jessica she may go the way of Melanie Amaro - very powerful voice but we've heard nothing from her since she won and she also wasn't very good on the pepsi commercial performance which was part of winning that competition

I'll wait for Rock of Ages to be on TV like so much else - it's so expensive to go the movies, let alone sports events - just watch it all on TV and save yourself the muss and fuss of getting there and back as well

I so agree with you - Hollie endures I think because you can at least understand what song she's singing - Jessica and sometimes Joshua make the song so unrecognizable that you're listening to their vocal abilities but mostly concentrating on what is this song - I think that's deadly for trying to get into a business…

and Kris Allen stayed on key so you could understand the song he was singing and be able to appreciate his rendition of it - though I was an Adam fan and wanted him to win
