Looks like teadoust will once again fill his monthly quota of being an insufferable humorless asshole. I say good on him!

Quit being ridiculous. Slacker is his best.

The only Portishead album I like is "Third". There, I said it.

Awwww, I'm really gonna miss you, Mr. anonymous troll who can't be bothered to make a profile or even really refute my argument.

Wait, Salieri, at what point were Woody Allen's movies "realistic", and when did they feature dialogue that "real people would say"? I think we've been watching different films or something.

New Morning has some great songs.

As much as I enjoyed the film, I have to agree with Tobias that the political stuff just didn't work. In a way, the first five minutes of the film are perfect; just Danny Trejo being a badass and decapitations and gore and a super hot naked chick and Steven Segal trying and failing miserably to do a passable Spanish

Tobias just fucked with the wrong Mexican.
(and the wrong Canadian as well)

1.) @Chico: They actually do a pretty decent job of matching up Lohan with the chick they used from the fake trailer, and you do kinda get to see the real Lohan's boobs in a later scene, but they're obscured by her hair, kinda.

Wu-Tang Clan
Almost everything they've done post-36 Chambers/Forever and that first round of solo albums (Liquid Swords/Cuban Linx/Return/Bulletproof/Tical) has been forgettable at best, and horrendous at the worst. Fishscale and Cuban Linx 2 are notable exceptions, but you truly never know what kind of potential turd

Wait, you're saying there was a time when Norman Mailer WASN'T full of himself? Whaaaa?

What about escape artists?

After that "Hurley" story from today, I just can't defend Weezer anymore. I don't care how much I loved The Blue Album and Pinkerton as an awkward teenage scumbag, they just aren't worth my time at all at this point.

Fuckin' A, "Band on the Run" and "Ram" are both excellent records, although I would put "Ram" second in the list of Beatles solo efforts, right behind George's "All Things Must Pass" (which I honestly think is better than anything The Beatles ever did as a group anyway, sorry). After that Macca just went spiraling off

In most of Europe, Misery Porn never even went out of style!

"DR. TOBIAS FUNKE: ANALRAPIST"

One of my friends from college met him at a book signing in Connecticut. Apparently he was a really nice guy. Even went so far as to give a call to a friend of my friend who couldn't make the signing and talked to her for like 10 minutes.

My card says "Dreamatarian" in Comic Sans on a background of a horse giving birth to a double rainbow while Ernest Borgnine watches. I win.

"Oh, Mitchell!"
