I really wish they could have included the scene from the book where Bateman goes to see U2 live and he and Bono have that scary psychic mind-meld moment and he realizes that Bono is a serial killer too. That part was awesome. The rest of the book just made me feel dirty.

Barbershop is in danger of turning stale! I'm taking it in strange new directions!

I'm with you on that one, Fidel. Amazing film. The scene where he has to kill John Tutturro in the woods gets me every time.

Oh man give me a secluded park, a breezy autumn day, and "Reflections After Jane". All is right with the world.

Gotta go with Zodiac. It had an excellent 70's vibe, and it managed to be really funny and human while still being relentlessly bleak and creepy. He didn't overdo it, which he's managed to do in all his other features. And I have to admit, the more I see the trailer for The Social Network, the more intrigued I get.

My first Herzog experience was Aguirre as well, although I had already seen him as the insane father in Harmony Korine's "Julien Donkey-Boy", drinking cough syrup out of a shoe and saying such amazing lines as "Winners don't shiver!" I knew this guy was just the type of slightly unhinged character I can't help but

I too have dreamed of getting sushi and not paying for it.

@MadsMikkelsen:

The scene in Goodfellas that always gets me is the montage of all the dead bodies being discovered, set to the piano part of "Layla". Gives me chills just thinking about it.

Good call. "One Beat" got me through a really bad breakup a few years ago.

The first Ramones album really amazed me. I tried to convince my best friend at the time that we had to start a punk band and become punk rockers, but he was too into Styx and Master of Puppets.

SLANTED AND ENCHANTED
I bought it the summer of 2003 from my local Borders. I was about to be a sophomore in high school, and I was really starting to get heavily into music. "OK Computer" and "Daydream Nation" had saved me from the road of Top 40 aggro rap-metal that most of my private school colleagues had gotten

I heard that album for the first time in the car with my Mom, and when that "I LOOOOOVE YOU JESUS CHRIIIIIIIIST!" line came in, she shot me this look, like "What the hell did you just buy?" I was just blown away by how…brave is the only word I can think of. It was so brave to be so emotionally naked that soon into the

I heard she went ahead and married Norm "Sonofagundersson"!

"Blah blah blah family is precious and love and understanding and patience and farts."

Oh man, good call.

We got banned from the pool forever that day, but every time we'd walk past afterwards the lifeguard would look down from her tower, over at Squints…and smile.

I found a few of those playing cards that had naked chicks on them once in the woods, that's about the extent of my forest porn findings. and considering how many wooded areas my suburb had, i should have found way more. kinda disappointing. although one time in the woods behind my best friend's house we found an

To paraphrase The Royal Tenenbaums, I don't think Ferris Bueller is a douche, I just think he's kind of a sonofabitch.

I read an interview with Paul Feig recently where he said he wouldn't have brought Lindsay back to the town if there was another season of F & G, so at least we can all rest easy knowing that she made it out ok.
