Retroactive TUSK!

And that you can buy as separates, because while you probably shouldn't wear dirty panties, who has ever only worn a bra once between washings?
Personally, I want a remake of the Badgers song:
Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger
Skinny, Skinny!
Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger
Skinny, Skinny!
Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger, Badger
Walt!…
I like to think that that's not a typo and there really is a surgery where a person's heart has to be reattached after falling out due to wacky hijinks.*
Actually, and I can't believe I'm about to defend it, Texas is something of a leader in criminal justice reform these days. Other than PREA, which is the Governor's thing, they've done a lot of good stuff. Right on Crime, a conservative criminal justice reform group founded by Grover Norquist and Newt Gingrich, is…
I don't know that I would go so far as to say most of the Western world. America, the world's largest jailer, definitely. But a number of European countries (particularly in Scandinavia) have fairly innovative and progressive systems. And, of course, better and more accessible mental health care.
Ditto. So glad someone else assumes bath = death.
Pop culture makes me think being straight must be very difficult, if you can't be friends with 49% of the population.
Clearly you were not the Recording Secretary of the Princeton Gilbert & Sullivan Society.
I started watching because of Allison Janney, who made even Mr. Sunshine enjoyable for a minute, almost stopped because of the laugh track, and then found myself pulled in to an extent I didn't predict. Solid finale. I both laughed at Anna Faris calling god a scamp and found myself sniffing as Violet bid Lil Smokey…
Some women choose not to have epidurals, for a variety of reasons.
I think Blink is overrated. There. I said it. I'm just going to cover my head while you all throw things at me.
While I appreciate that they at least acknowledged—if completely absurdly—race, Solomon's Magical Negroness still creeps me out. The fact that he would not have been the leader of Hooverville makes it even worse.
ETA: This may be a little tl;dr. It turns out I have a lot to say on the subject.
I do not. Because it *isn't* my thing. It's not my kind of show at all. That I'm enjoying it is a testament to how incredibly well-done it is, but it makes perfect sense that I wouldn't think to watch it in the first place. I read some reviews and recaps a couple of years ago, and on paper (read: screen) it's not…
Does Breaking Bad count? After years of saying "not my thing", I watched the final two episodes with my girlfriend, an actual fan, and immediately went back and Netflixed the rest.
Also—you mentioned BSG. Doctor Who isn't BSG. It's not Star Trek. It's not X-Files. It's not hard scifi/fantasy. It's a children's show. There are lots and lots of people who don't ever watch anything on SciFi, but still watch this. That's a good thing.
