Out of the entire Magnum PI series I've watched part of one episode…twice…and then Archer parodied it, so I was the only person in the room who got the joke.

A 'real' Pet Sematery is unwatchable. I think 10% of the audience would faint if you showed a two year old get hit by a truck. And then the scene with the fight at the funeral….and the guy digging with his hands.
The movie was pretty crappy except for the excellent casting of Gwynne. But at least they kept the ending…

I agree somewhat about Lauder, but his going from murderer to his, romanticizing "I coulda been somebody" is, at best self-delusional and shows that the character never really grew any.

I started rereading The Stand last night. Funny how age puts some things in perspective. Larry's mom is 51?? That's not old. I'm 49. But of course when I read it as a teenager, in my head larry's mom was probably 65 or 70.

I think the gushing over the mini-series cast has that Return of the Jedi glow about it. In retrospect, not as good as people remember.
Sinise, Lowe, Ringwald, Frewer, Ferrer…those are parts that should have worked but just didn't quite dazzle. Flagg was subpar, Parker Lewis was disasterous casting.

Flagg was laughable in parts. Some of the parts didn't work, (Parker Lewis? Really?) but some parts and scenes looked like they came straight out of my ****ing head. Like the death of Ray Walston.

Oddly enough the Marilyn murder (see the latest released FBI documents) seems much more sinister and convulated than JFK's.
