JLD was really amazing. She sounds remarkably like Liz Lemon in the scenes.

Cheyenne Jackson was really rocking his version of the theme song.

Doh
I was reading and wondering since when did Nabin make so much sense in such fluid terms? Scrolled back up and it became clear. Love this review because I feel like a lot of the negativity is unwarranted and misses the whole point of "30 Rock doing a live show" eg Sepinwall at Hitfix.

Nah Modern Family is predictable. Cougar Town is ok but when it has inspired episodes, it blows Modern Family and its 'well executed' sweetness away.

People really need to get over Cougar Town's stupid title. It matches Modern Family's 'heart' without the cliched plots and grew to have its own comedic tone. Plus it features an equally strong ensemble.

The ensemble is its major strength. Which is why the predictable writing is disappointing. The cast is working hard to lift the material.

This show
is really enjoyable. Love the ensemble and how it grew into its own groove. Kind of feels like 30 Rock in the suburbs with the pace and cutaways and off-kilter humour.

There still are. But the show has mostly depressed them by trying to stomp out any romance last season but I think that affected their dynamic badly, even friendship-wise.

30 Rock was sharper than Community for me.

Fantastic start to the season. But it was the most disturbing episode ever, starting from Jack's beard.

I guess Jeff was trying to make fun of cliched triangles on tv? But I hated that plot; didn't get the mocking vibe if they were going there. Plus Jeff is turning into a slutty character and I ship Jeff/Annie but I don't want their relationship to start like that. Are they going to spend episodes on this romantic

Jack is lead, Tracy is supporting. Jack has most of the major plots in an episode and what else will he talk about other than the baby? Plus Jack has turned into a major d-bag the last couple of episodes and was let of way to easily with the two-timing and then was rewarded with Donaghy spawn. Wtf.

Conflicted
Loved the finale but the Avery pregnancy plot is so fucking stupid and I do not want Jack/baby/I am not going to be a good father because I had non-existent fathers plots next season. Jack needs to be with the other characters because Jack/guest star plots are boring and frustrating and sad.

Seriously
Disappointed with the second half of Modern Family season. I chalk it down to the long American tv season but man the first 5 episodes felt bright and fresh and I could handle the cheesy moments then. The show plateaued over the next few but the second half just brought up so many predictable plots like the

I get the feeling that Alec was doing Lorne a favour because any summer blockbuster star would have hosted to promote their movie but everybody would be avoiding this gig after last week's episode.

I say that he looks like the person he was portraying every time I finish a movie: Tony Blair, Brian Clough, Kenneth Williams. He's like a male-Meryl Streep.

But like the black version
