I'm with you Glenn. I think it may be due to different types of humour? I will never get the attraction of mockumentaries. And for the past few months people have been hyping Community all over the 30 Rock boards and I sat down to watch 5 episodes yesterday with probably too high expectations but they weren't super

I actually liked the peacock storyline. Maybe because of the promos/episode description, I was having very low expectations for it but I thought Baldwin really sold the plot in the last scene.

Yeah disagreeing here
I think this episode will probably be polarizing. I was never a big Floyd fan; I thought Liz enjoyed his company but I never felt he loved her enough (especially not enough to stay in New York).

Oh get out Office nerd. I don't know how you can say you laughed more during last night's episode where it revolved around Dwight/Michael and sales/non-sales angsting.

Yeah you should be yelled at
This deserved a solid B at least for Jonathan killing it tonight.

Apparently some feminists completely did not get it:

I think he porked up when he realised that his time to become the next Harrison Ford/Tom Cruise had passed by the late 90s and he just went 'fuck it, I am eating that donut even if it means that I will only get to steal scenes from lesser lead actors for the rest of my career'.

Hm.
I am probably one of the few that enjoyed this episode. It wasn't the constant gag jokes but I really loved the cast dynamic and Liz trying so hard to be Ms Manager. But I guess when the show doesn't shoot jokes rapidly, people aren't used to story development.

OMFG
It is unbelievable that Nabin is almost accusing 30 Rock to be formulaic but praises The Office even though they have, yet again, recycled their 'Michael misunderstands and screws up but redeems himself at the end' plot device. Why is he still writing for this show when it obviously pains him so bad? It's obvious

Can we keep this reviewer?
Even if I don't get all the sports references. Because the previous guy (Nathan?) seemed like he barely watched the show and just tweaked his previous week's review to rush it out.

Great throwaway line.
"You don't think I've been brought in on a million auditions just to make Kim Cattrall seem grounded and human?"

Hm
Seems like someone was desperate to rush this review. Formatting madness.

But the Reunion episode also showed that Kenneth attended a high school with mostly black kids…

Same here. I think with so many new comedies this season, a lot of people have attached themselves to one and feel a need to rag against the Emmy winner to boost their 'underdogs'. And I think the delayed premiere really hurt it this year; it hasn't had the time to settle into its groove like other shows. Even Jack

Hmm
Something was definitely off (a bit like the 4th episode too). Mitchell bumping Lily's head on the ceiling was a lot like the Friends episode where Monica bumped Ross's kid's head and both characters went all 'I am a bad parent' only to be comforted at the end.
