Really loved the Dan/Amy-Jonah/Richard-Pierce/sick (but not dying!) mom scenes. The guy who played Pierce was terrific with his haplessness.

She's getting good roles in the UK (I'm really excited about her in AMC/BBC's adaptation of The Night Manager especially since they did the gender-switch for her to play the character), but I wish she would do more films. BAFTAs are nice and she should win one every year but it's getting to a point where I need her to

That interview with Sharon Hogan is one of the most delightful interviews I have ever listened to. Colman doesn't give herself enough credit as a comedian; she makes you want to grab a drink with her. Helps that she's professional enough to prepare and be interested in her interviewee unlike Vic Reeves.

The "shitting on Ellie Miller" routine is stretched waaay too much. I wound up getting angry at the show.

That interview was a little painfully awkward but completely worth a listen just to know that Olivia Colman and Paul Rudd are mates and he called her when he was cast in Friends because she is massively obsessed with that show.

Same reaction to that. Malcolm Tucker's political demise remains the most tragic thing I watched on tv in 2012. I get genuinely upset when watching his final scene and his scenes where he is speechless in the inquiry episode.

He's incredible. I have seen him in other recent shows and sometimes there's a bit of Tucker in his performances but he's completely different but still wonderfully magnificence in what little screen time he has. The character has all these little quirks but he plays it so naturally.

Same. Capaldi and Chancellor have the chemistry and astounding ability to sell me a soapy plotline. They actually get me extremely invested in it and making me antsy during the crime plotline because I want more of them.

Probably my actors-bias but the Randall-Lix scenes are still my favourite parts of the show. Plus their characters are fascinating so the amount of time spent on the crime/seedy underworld part instead of those characters (which is actually the show's strength) annoys me slightly.

I think a lot of people who watch The Thick of It do find themselves fancying him. Whether it's for his incredible acting or for Malcolm Tucker (/beautiful swearing in Scottish accent) is another matter.

But "compelling, character driven story" does not necessarily = good comedy which is what I expect from 30 Rock (and it usually delivers).

"But I don’t think I really care anymore."

But can you really argue putting his name before all those people listed in front of him?

I thought the first 2 seasons were entertaining. Love the seriousness of the Will and Grace relationship at the end of season 1 and Jack and Karen's physical comedy and energy together.

For diehard fans?
I loved this episode and it felt like it was made for diehard fans. There were so many little callbacks they threw in and I thought it was executed very well. I am one of the few that love the show for its characters it seems and I thought the characterization for Jack and Liz was excellent in

Yeah he is fulfilling his contract. I don't understand why the subject of him leaving keeps coming up because as big a fan of the show as I am, I don't see 30 Rock going past 6 seasons.
