OK, die-hards, now it's time to put our (highly questionable) powers of influence to work on what those last two unfilmed episodes should be:
The highly discussed, often dismissed, reunion between Jeff and his dad.  Now they can finally get Bill Murray!  Even if they have to alter existing episodes that have been

Yes!  For all his racism, old-foginess, etc., he's been one of the better written characters, from the beginning.  He's the old man who says what's on his mind, but often, that includes pearls of wisdom, fears of growing old, and the stellar idea that learning keeps him alive.
But now, maybe in those two episodes yet

Many of the reasons I love Sandman are all about the ideas that Gaiman puts in them, ideas that are sold with the writing and the art.  (I liken it often to a bible, packed with thought and meaning and concepts to live by.)  And these ideas are typically fleshed out in the single issue stories, so I really love this

That aspect of August is often missed, and it's one of the reasons this story — as well as many others in Fables & Reflections — lingers in my head to this day.  Varmints If You Will pointed out the over-arching theme of being carefulwhat you wish for, and I think that August points that out best to me.  I think that

I think Breaking Bad made me break my own version of this rule — someone gave me Season 1; I plowed through it; started finding Season 2 copies online; and eventually bought my first TV show, in an attempt to play fair.
The show is crack, is what I'm saying, and it's brought down many a well intended consumer of pop

Also disagree.  Vodka martinis — when done well — taste pretty much like water.  Maybe a dirty martini has some slight olive flavor, but (cheap) vodka can easily be made flavorless.
But that's why I like my martinis with good gin, and just a hint of vermouth.  Good gin is fantastic.

Was that the show in the Paradise, by chance?  (From other comments, I know you're in the Boston-area.)  That show made me sooo happy, as I only really got into X well after their first touring life, and by this time, the Knitters had become my new favorite shit-kicking band.  I gathered up some X-loving friends, and

Thank you!  I came here to rectify that mistake, and found the good work already done.
Wish bars were open this morning round my way.
