i didn't find it any different than their treatment of Iraq in the original run. arrested development has always been borderline racist, it goes with the borderline homophobia.

sound is by far the hardst thing to get right in low budget filmmaking, at least in my experience.

i've always been a big "Songs for the Deaf" fan but Scumbag Blues was the track that solidified my love of Homme and crew.

@avclub-3e74d4efb63e0f6f60c6097ce1085dfa:disqus I assumed it was Rebel Alley, but it's never expanded upon.

i found it slightly less funny but far more dramatic. i've always been invested in these characters' stories, and over the last seven years as i've rewatched the series it's become more and more important to me. the new direction, a bit more serious, made perfect sense to me.

who would want to cut this season up?! it's better to leave in all the extra jokes. this way we have it!

does anyone remember when the comments on this site had actual substance? when it was possible to believe in something sincerely and not be mocked; to be popular not just because of clever one liners?

you don't, you just have to wait until september to download it from louie.

This is by far his strongest album, a dense, conceptual future classic that is being vastly underappreciated, etc, etc. Very tired of saying this everywhere, I wish ANY critics had really delved into this the way it deserves.

yes the first season is more grounded, but at it's core Sunny is a show about people sliding into darkness. the introduction of danny devito the show was accidental genius. making frank's goal to leave his life behind and slide into filth and poverty allowed the other four characters to do the same, which is really

this website really has the worst comments on the entire internet.

Stan totally has Moore hair this episode. I thought it was a pretty overt parody of that particular era. I do agree that Tearjerker weakens the episode's premise, though he is funny.

i'm pretty sure that's exactly what he's been doing with his academy award winning soundtrack work and his new band, how to destroy angels. check it out! i have a feeling that NIN is gonna travel in a similar direction now.

I think this album is more akin with his soundtrack work than NIN. It's very moody and atmospheric  not a lot of intensity or anger (except perhaps in the title track). It's streaming on pitchfork, I'd recommend it.

uh, this is not new. frank has been part of ofwgkta for quite some time.

soon as i saw nathan's name i stopped reading

yeah. "peeing."

It's on Netflix I believe.

"it seems this Arrested Development reunion lacks, well, an actual reunion. "You don't see them all together until you see the movie," Hurwitz says"

even his recent rick ross collaboration was stunningly good.
