B-? B-?! this was masterful. this episode felt like it touched on like a hundred different hot button issues. my favorite: the show presented us with an alternate universe where marketing is catered to black consumers in a way that doesn't always ring true in the real world, where most TV advertising is targeted to

zack checked out a LONG time ago. was one of my favorites for ages, especially post-exodus, but he hasn't been the same for ages.

this episode was about people like you, and it's beautiful that you've completely missed that.

i honestly can't stand this guy. i feel like he does the same exact schtick in basically every single comedy tv show of the last year and a half, and it just bugs me. he didn't ruin this episode, but this line just didn't do it for me, because it's the only character he knows how to do

lol

i was merely trying to provide a different perspective, so that maybe you would realize that you're not "right" about lettermen, nor are you wrong, and that different audiences have different tastes. thanks for being totally condescending to me for no fucking reason, though, cause now i know you're just an

I Don't Like Shit is probably my album of the year so far, so i feel that, but i still think i love all three of the songs i mentioned more than any individual song on IDLS.

all i will say is that i'm 22 and nobody my age gives a shit about lettermen. the dude is obviously a legend but he's been checked out as long as i've been aware of him. he's for the last generation. stewart and colbert have been more broadly influential (and certainly more cutting edge) in the last 15 years, there is

nah man, the second half of that song is fucking beautiful

i really love this album. i think if it were mixed properly it would be getting a much more positive (if not effusive) reaction. there is some beautiful material here, but it gives me a headache on my earphones. try blasting it on speakers, i think it's designed for that.

you are also high

you are high

i personally believe dennis killing someone is entirely possible, though it would probably be saved for the series finale. the show has been diving into his fucked up psyche more and more the past few seasons, and it's clear he's totally sociopathic.

i agree that season seven is a low point (the gang goes to the jersey shore is probably the show's nadir) but there are still some amazing episodes (chardee macdennis, anti-social network, the gang gets trapped, how mac got fat, and thundergun express are all great. the two-part season finale is pretty interesting but

i adore charlie and dee find love. it is, truthfully, a fairly cruel episode that has some characterization problems. is that your issue with the episode, or is it something else?

flylo is only credited on the opening track, so it's really not that ludicrous.

oh man i only just saw this do i know you? don't even know if this will give you a notifcation

obviously it's an opinion thing, but i think season 7, or the fat mac season, is the show's true low point. there are still some great episodes, but it also has probably the worst episodes of the show's whole run. it's also sort of a divider, because everything post season 7 is way crazier than before. i think seasons

holy fucking shit

people always talk about nicki's verse on monster but i think kanye's is the true standout, so technically compelling and hilarious. he also totally gave himself the funkiest section of the whole beat.
