Hm I thought they were using a direct quote. That is really wildly out of context. Thanks for the educating.
Elementary is indeed awesome.
sadly the reaction to a first female of anything always gets a nasty reaction
I'm unsure how this will play out. Sounds shallow, I know, but I think part of the surge in global popularity for NewWho, especially in the youth, comes from having this charismatic good-looking and young figure.
the character is an alien that can travel through time and space, and I don't there's anything inherently male about the role, minus the use of heterosexual female companions as romantic options.
But isn't 50% of British population female as well? Yet for a role that can allow the next person to be absolutely anyone, it's just kind of a letdown to see such an unbroken line
I'm a little disappointed. Love the actor,'s work but I was so sure the new doctor would be something other than another white guy this time.
Fuck you, The Newsroom.

It was too much into what was deemed as christian moral behaviour, and yes, creating an otherness in the excessive in the drunken lout (that was likely to be a…
It easily could have fit into the narrative without him being a wowed tourist.
"There's always a lighthouse, always a man" was so bad. A pompous out for trying something new indeed.
I would never pay $60 for an 8 hour game. Anything less than 20 hours I feel better off renting. Something from Bioware or Bestheda that promises hundreds of hours with multiple playthroughs now that's a good investment. And even old school rpg's could get 40-60 hours with limited space. I mean what games do you play…

Primarily the Willow part, that was some terrible concept that turned of my favorite characters into a person who had no qualms with mentally violating her girlfriend and friends.
Thanks for the link, I used to love this segment in the Escapist and it disappeared from there so I assumed they stopped making it.
So many wasted opportunities. Remember walking in on that white couple with sympathetic pamphlets about race? They would've have been fun to talk to. And there was a murder in the beginning of the game in a house being investigated by cops, maybe Booker could've offered his services in exchange for a reward.

I returned that 15 hour game two days after I bought it. After hearing almost every reviewer and gamer act like this game was THE perfect game, oh I am ready to throw down.
