One thing to say about Sanderson, his imagination for fight scenes is admirable. The mistborn, particularly the most recent one to come out, make great use of action set pieces.
If this ending is true, and this is a universe where adolescent aliens have the means and ability to hop half way across the galaxy and place an impenetrable globe miles wide around a town just for shits and giggles…. then what's happening under the dome sounds like the least interesting part of this universe.
oooh, regularly going to the doctor. Quit the bragging, Moneybags
I'm probably overthinking it, but I was half-sure from the wording that the skin was from another person…. creepy
Same!
As if PB would ever let Unions exist
For all this show's faults, they can write a great comedic scene when they want. But then I could imagine it all falling flat if not for O'brien and to some extent Peter.
I've never heard the turtle shell version, just the frog drowning one, I guess it comes off as more poetic that way. I groaned when they started using it because I feel like every tv show in the last ten years pulls out "Scorpion and the frog" and I'm just personally a bit sick of it. The only time I've really liked…
The ages of the actors really surprised me. I thought for a second we were watching Derek in Elementary school before I realized that this is how real high school kids look like.
Agree with most of Phil's points even the grade. Good job teen wolf writers, it looks like the hotel episode was not just a fluke. That was some good character and myth-building that this show has needed for some time
I'm an avid review follower, but I can't bring myself to watch this show. The personal stories and drama of the people in the show sound too terrible. Is it as bad as the reviewer says?
And hopefully they'll give her a sensible costume, maybe a variation on old timey greek armor.
You know I'm tired seeing people negatively compare MOS to the
Avengers. The Avengers had the benefit of 4 movies to develop plot for
it and establish characters.
my only quibble is that I can't imagine him having a good batman voice.
Agreed on all of this. Maybe throw in some Cadmus or STAR labs set up and you've got yourself a movie.
He fulfilled this role well in DCAU, which is not by any means a "little-known comic"
I'll never understand why people thought Thor was a good movie. Completely mediocre, forgettable popcorn flick at best
Sadly the more I think about it, Matt Bomer looks way too much like Henry Cavill, it might be too confusing.
