There's a great little animated documentary about Brinkly called Nuts. Highly recommend it

Also worth pointing out that when Milo is given a chance to speak (read: "is ignored") he uses his position to harass transgender students to the point that they drop out: https://broadly.vice.com/en…
Great, because the way to make Marvel movies better is to make them LESS grounded. More hocus pocus and psuedo-science mcguffins please! /s
I agree that they Hillary was nowhere near as bad as Trump, but the whole point of the Douche v Turd analogy is that just because one side is awful doesn't necessarily make the other side good.
Is it bad that I honestly can't tell if you're joking?
Went in there for the first time in years because Amazon was out of Switch preorders. It was full of POP figures and a 40 year old bald dude who paid for everything on his mom's credit card. I don't like stereotypes but that's what I saw.
Worth pointing out that backing off of Trump doesn't mean they can't tackle some larger societal and cultural issues. I actually found their Troll plot to be one of the best examinations of why people troll online anywhere on TV. South Park and Black Mirror are the only shows I've seen that even acknowledge this…
I'm really surprised by the folks blaming South Park for… anything. We did have 2 of the most unpopular candidates of all time. That's a fact, whether or not its fair is irrelevant to be honest (and I voted for Clinton in the supremely safely blue California).
I saw an early screening of this, and it was the only time I've ever heard an entire theater of people crying at once. Say what you will about it being "simplistic" but that does help it become universal.
What I dislike about this whole story is that Cho says the best thing Swinton could do is use her privilege and status to encourage/produce Asian American voices/films. Swinton says she's working with Bong Joon-ho/Steven Yeun on a film, and THEN Cho turns that around into some kind of "I have asian friends so that…
I so strongly disagree with this that I was shocked to see that it's fairly common.
I've heard lots of talk, mostly back-handed compliments from critics, that the series is heavy handed. Never heard the word smug before, but there's definitely a sense among some who feel that the show has a "know it all" attitude towards technology.
With this technology, they are covering up the horror of war with a video game aesthetic, turning horror into excitement. Basically just slapping a new wallpaper onto something to make it more palatable.
Didn't we already do this? I'm getting serious deja vu here
I'm always infuriated by the "This game isn't worth XXX" amount of dollars. What's the fucking metric for this? Depth or duration? Polish or scale? I'd argue AAA games like CoD or Madden aren't worth $60 considering they're repetitions of the same exact thing every year.
Probably to limit the technology they can use (not satellite imagery to explore the island form afar). But also the last Kong movie was a period piece too so I would expect them to follow the trend until we get to the inevitable Kong vs. Godzilla movie in the present day (which will be foreshadowed via the end of…
I'm surrounded by 1000+ arcanines on all sides
I will never let my boss see this.
Saw the movie last night. Probably not going to change anyone's mind if they don't like him, but he clearly uses his films to deal with his own personal/existential questions so I don't think he needs anyone's validation.
I watched this movie after hearing it referenced in a quick joke in Frisky Dingo. I was very disappointed to hear the joke was WRONG and that scene doesn't play out that way in the movie. Shame on you, Adam Reed! Shame! http://www.adultswim.com/vi…
