I'm really bummed they're not doing 2 episodes per week. At 18 episodes, it's going to be a long wait to get the full season out there.

Their huge applause breaks wore me out (I started yelling at the screen for them to shut up already after the tenth time they broke out into applause in the middle of a story) but that's not Hasan's fault. Knowing you're on camera makes the audience act out more. And also I assume it was mostly a UC Davis crowd, so

There's a Godzilla anime coming out soon (to Netflix I think)

Sometimes I'll come back to the AV Club and the comments will be ordered by Oldest instead of Best without me noticing it, so I didn't see how quickly he's been beat up. I wonder if this is why his twitter account is Protected now (or has it always been that way?) Because holy hell this article is a load of trash.

"he thinks maybe people could budge on the whole pro-choice thing"

Saddam Hussein plays a huge role in their family and they literally wave a Mission Accomplished banner

These guys are making a PissPigGrandad movie and I can only assume its going to be awful and get everything wrong. A complicated real life conflict in which people are currently dying doesn't seem like a good idea for a movie. Too soon!

I think the end game is that filmmakers can have the cast that they want in their films. The prevailing sentiment is that GITS would have an asian lead if it wasn't for evil Hollywood forcing Scarlett Johansson into it.

If this is a real spoiler, you're a butthole

I'd love to see BOTW2 (and yes I do want a BOTW2 like how we got Super Mario Galaxy 2) show some real cities, or at least the beginnings of one. Here we had post-apocalyptic Hyrule and I think a post-post-apocalyptic one on the verge of being destroyed AGAIN would be an interesting way to expand on the mechanics and

I wish there was a recipe book or something you could get that would show you what you can make with the ingredients you have available, or at the very least meals you've already made. It feels like something that wouldn't break the immersion of the game while making it slightly easier to cook up that amazing +13

It's almost like its ok to not like something that other people love! /s

I 100% agree with your first point, less with your last.

As much as high minded critics like to make fun of comic book fanboys, they too get upset when they can feel that something isn't made for them. The independent film cred of Terrence Malik was their's, back when he used to only make a movie every 5 - 10 years. Now he's making a new movie every year and it doesn't feel

Too bad she'll never show her face in SF since she'd rather be in DC

Your hot takes are bad and you should feel bad

The way they respond shows who they truly are. Not to go all Bernie Bro, but looking at Bernie, Hillary, and Trump's responses to BLM protests is all I needed to see to decide who to vote for (Bernie > Hillary > cry myself to sleep)

About the price of the games, a lot of titles are below the $60 price point. Rime and Redout are $30, so I think indie developers will find they have flexibility to name their own price and encourage innovation.

Hulu is definitely underrated but they also just lost pretty much all their Viacom (namely Comedy Central) shows which was a real kick in the nuts for me.
