So, so much teal and orange though.

What about Sean O'Neal's Snarkwire?

I definitely thought of Perdido Street Station too, which, by the way, I would love to see del Toro try to make a movie out of.

Yield or bust.

You should. They put on an incredible show. Long, high-energy, and they never play the same set list twice.

Well you're certainly living up to your username. I still love Pearl Jam, although they do seem to be moving into the elder statesmen / Rolling Stones period of their career. I'm sure I'll see them when they come to town, but the speculation of a new album doesn't excite me nearly as much as it used to.

I realize it's not a traditional western, but that's the way the studios think. John Carter tanks = Mars is box office poison. Lone Ranger tanks = nobody wants to see westerns.

I'm not too sad to see The Lone Ranger flop, but hopefully Armie Hammer doesn't go the way of Taylor Kitch. He was great in Social Network, and deserves to be a star. Also, I've long lamented the death of the western genre. If this had been a hit, we might get a few more here and there, but no studio is going to risk

Why does this guy drop the third E from his name? This really bothers me for some reason.

@avclub-60dd44fc5944d2c8eb5bc7b7b9a3a70d:disqus I've read Wind-Up Bird Chronicle, and really enjoyed it. Where should I go next? Kafka on the Shore? 1Q84?

I like Chabon a lot, although Telegraph Avenue was pretty disappointing. As for Gaiman, I've only read American Gods and was thoroughly underwhelmed. It's a great premise that sadly doesn't ever pay off.

Me Want Comment: The Cookie Monster Story

I love Perdido Street Station so, so much. But it's kind of ruined other books for me, because nothing will ever be that audaciously, unapologetically weird and imaginative again.

Wait a minute, did I just get a shout out? I only post like 5 comments a week, so this is a big deal for me!

What article? It would appear I missed it too.

Plus we can have a storyline where he convinces a woman he's Kevin Costner. And it will work, because he believes it!

I would love for Dewey Crowe and Dickie Bennett to have their own show of comic misadventures and bumbling schemes gone awry.

And when addressing him directly, will.you.are

I'm obviously late to the party here, but you should still get the notification. There's a store in Seattle that has throwback zoot suits:
