In California here we've got legal medical marijuana and are moving quickly towards legal marijuana in general, and it's led to the worst thing, which is marijuana advertising. Especially for medical dispensaries it's just so annoying for every ad to look like a 13-year old designed it while listening to Snoop Dogg. …

I hear it strongly in Red Eyes at least. Singer has the same tendency to let notes trail off at the ends of lines instead of lilt them out. Turns the song a little more downbeat.

My brain automatically translates "This movie is good to watch when you're high" into "This is a bad movie."

Have you ever built a modestly successful if basically one-note career… on weed?

I give Kings of Leon credit for a great cover of Robyn's Dancing on my Own, but that's it.

Try eating a cat poop.

Try out The War on Drugs. They sound like Bruce Springsteen and Dire Straits got together and Bob Dylan watched, and they're relatively new.

I wanna say Tango in the Night, because some of the songs are there are so filthy with dumb 80s nonsense ("I'm a family man"), but the truth is Fleetwood Mac won me back eventually so I can't. Plus Everywhere on a revisit is a kickass tune.

Has anyone ever received that snoot-ass advice to go buy frying chicken at a "nearby farm" without rolling their eyes?

It's shaping up like the only person on that set that will want to be is Joe Mangianello. Five bucks says it turns into some melodrama about a late 70s Boston mafia boss having bitter arguments with his pregnant wife and then also Deathstroke is there sometimes.

That song requires no excuse.

I'm sure he does.

Hey that card pairs fine with "This summer, perfectly consensual sex will happen near____"

Hey, I remember those goggles. They're gonna use them when they shrink down Mike TV.

I dunno man, I still find myself saying "Batman? Batman you say? Coming here? For you? B'hah!" quite a bit and that movie was awful.

I think there's still potential for Justin Hammer.

We reviewed that too! It's objectively terrible. Just the worst. There's no cohesion to anything, no connection between stats and skills, no reason to care about the three class options, nothing. There is at least a wizard in a basement that knows what you did.

Why would Australians be mad that we got a new New Zealand foodstuff first?

"Our manufacturing partners have asked for an excuse to roll out a whole huge line of toys that don't look like toys you have already so your kid needs the new ones."

I'm still not of the impression that we're great. We're getting reasonably popular though. 13k downloads a week or so. There's a lot of rad nerds out there.
