Nudity issues aside, why cast a fifteen year old as Carrie anyway? Isn't the character supposed to be a senior (or at least a junior) in high school?  It's not exactly unheard up for a fifteen year old to get her first period. Make her seventeen, and that ups the strangeness of the situation.
