I think it's a mixed bag. My parents have a shih-tzu who is kind of dopey but pretty and non-smelly. The one we had when I was a child smelled like it crawled out of the Pet Semetery, but that dog was a little criminal mastermind.

Nothing got me in doubled-over hysterics like the list of college football players from last week, but I chuckled pretty steadily throughout the whole show.

Thankfully this movie is coming out this weekend, so I can quit cooing at the screen whenever the dog appears in the commercials. Shih-tzus bring that out of me involuntarily.

Wasn't that (more or less) the premise of The House at the End of the Street? The trailers to that one, this film, and The Possession have all been so similar to me that I have a hard time keeping their film titles straight.

I just love the idea that "The Milkman" might have been picked as the villain simply to frame the story around that old joke.
