I saw "They Came Back" on Hulu this weekend. It's this really quiet, moody, French movie about all of the people buried within the past ten years rising from the dead, and the problems the living have with trying to reintegrate them back into society. I liked it a lot.

I don't remember if it was in the theatrical version or just on the DVD, but Cold Mountain has a scene of someone taking an infant out into the cold to freeze to death. He's brought back inside and later dies. That scene was hard to take.

I haven't seen the trailer, but the description makes … Timothy Green sound pretty interesting.

I stumbled onto the premiere episode while flipping channels. The show is Juno-esque, but it seems a hell of a lot smarter than the glut of MTV programs. And the channel could use another smart, sarcastic girl-centric show to fill the Daria void.

I noticed that girl too. I'm a nervous laugher, so I could see myself doing something similar and later regretting it.
