Wow, I wouldn't want to have any money invested in this thing. This makes the Zune look like a great idea.

Listening to these guys on Youtube. Good stuff, might have to get this album. Kind of reminds me of The Ponys.
I'm a bit burned out on comedy podcasts at the moment, but if Andy Daly is on, I'm listening. The first episode was fantastic. PFT was great as always, but even he has to get out of the way of the unstoppable hilarity of Andy-fucking-Daly.
Weird, it's almost like two different writers have different opinions.
You sir, have nailed it.
Oh Jesus, well I'm not going into that debate. But, if you were to take a poll of mainstream music critics The Beatles would almost certainly come out on top of any list of great rock bands.
Wow, you guys watch a lot of TV, just an observation.
I'm actually shocked that this is the top pick of the year. I know basically nothing about this show, but if it's close to as good as BB I'll definitely give it a shot. I'm genuinely intrigued at how a show could be better than BB this year. It's like being told that there's a band that you've never heard of who are…
My parents had a cassette of Schmillsson and I had the same reaction. Even as a kid I just couldn't believe that they used _that_ photo as an album cover. It looked like a long forgotten photo you'd find of your dad in an old shoebox. Good music though.
This is my favorite holiday movie by a long shot. I watch it every year. The turkey cracking open kills me every time. It also succeeds at not looking terrible dated. Sure there's a wood paneled station wagon and some ugly sweaters, but nothing that makes it scream 1980's. Hmm..except maybe Elaine Benes and her…
Just watched it, and ya, he does a pretty good summation. Most of the tracks have cool parts to them, but haven't been fleshed out yet, and the vocals can be repetitive to the point of maddening. It might have been better for DG to put a few more months into it. Oh well, sub par Death Grips is still more exiting to me…
Surprise surprise, the new Black Flag album isn't very good. Is there going to be a review of the new Death Grips, a band that's actually still relevant?
The obvious distinction is that Mad Men and Doctor Who are both good shows so it's easier to talk about what's good about them. You could cover everything good about the Walking Dead in one Twitter post.
Yep, the new group of Governor followers was just totally unbelievable. One minute they're shocked that he's gone so far as to kidnap some people, and the next minute they're in a full on, Call of Duty style assault after watching their leader nearly decapitate a senior citizen. It was just so, so stupid. The writers…
I don't think he was an honest to god cokehead though. Wasn't the story that he was just hanging out with some friends and someone put a line of coke on a coffee table and didn't bother to close the curtains. A cop saw the coke from the sidewalk and, boom, drug arrest. A very BNL way to get busted for drugs.
Gaaaaahhhh I hate that goddamn song. "Loverrrrrrrrrrerrrrs in a dangerous time." That song haunts my nightmares. It was on a continuous loop on Muchmusic when my brain was at its spongiest and now it's stuck in there, popping up every now and then. Like herpes. Fuck Bruce Cockburn too.
I also like how he calls BNL an insult to Canada. As a Canadian I've always felt that way too.
Photoshop filter and lens flare applied to a screen capture…yuck.
A train driven by Courtney Love!
He seems to have landed in that Jimmy Fallon zone of being perfectly agreeable to the majority of people. You can be sure that he won't offend anyone, and yet he won't make anyone laugh too hard either.
