I've never seen the show but I heard Howard Kremer say he'd been on it. Did anyone see his episode? And on a scale of snaggletooth or Italy, how hilarious was he?

Most amazing fact from the Hollywood Reporter story: Michael Arndt gets paid $300k a week to write. Wow. I knew big time screenwriters made good money, but that's higher than I would have guessed. Good for him.
This show gives me a headache with it's non stop crazy camera work, and Jessica Lang's refusal to turn it down from 11. It's all obnoxiously riveting.
Munich is my pick for underrated Spielberg (yes I know it was nominated for multiple Oscars). Not much sentimentality in that fucker.
Bowie has an office? I imagine him sitting at a desk, filling out paperwork, answering phone calls, waiting for 5:00 to finally come.
That's a nice little qualifier. Basically, "Slayer is awesome…but Mr. King has terrible taste in movies."
I usually watch this show while doing something else, so maybe it's been explained, but is there a reason why the zombies have such low bone density? It shouldn't be so easy to stomp someone's skull into mush, but even little girls seem to be able to do it in this show. And a knife shouldn't be able to slide into a…
Andy Daly is a podcast beast. It must be intimidating being on a show like improv4humans with him because he's just so much better than the average guest. Besser clearly loves him too.
I was on the fence before, but now I'm definitely on the 'not a fan' side of the Pete Holmes divide. Goddamn that guy's annoying. And Pamela Murphy…oy, whenever I see her name in a podcast I can basically guarantee that there's a one note, boring character coming.
Gabrus, though, was hilarious. So the episode wasn't a…
Hey, that's Bowie doing backing vocals on the first song. Bonus credit, Arcade Fire.
Gotta say I'm pretty happy to see Arnold in films again. Sly is staying all 'roided up and humorless, but Arnie seems to be content to let himself age sort-of gracefully and rely on his natural charm. There's something comforting about seeing him on screen cracking weird, almost-jokes in his goofy Arnold way.
How did it take me so long to find out that Stone Cold has a podcast?? I haven't watched one second of wrestling since I was 14 but I find the behind the scenes wrestling stories fascinating. The whole industry is so sordid and sleazy, with the drugs, death, physical and financial ruin etc. It's terrible, yet I can't…
Ah good, glad someone else is standing up for Nucky. I don't find him boring at all. Not every lead character needs to be a borderline psychopath with family issues. Nucky is great as a businessman whose business just happens to be outside of the law.
I think it's a far more accurate portrayal of what being a criminal…
Ha ha, ya that was an extra bit of stupid. Big Jim finds a couple of old drawings and the next moment the town has come together to construct a MASSIVE gallows with perfectly fit together boards and a movie-prop perfect noose…
Wouldn't they just use a big tree branch and a wooden stool for ol' Barbie?
He gets shoe advice from Ghostface Killah.
It's to BB's credit that it started out with its weakest season and has just gotten better and better. This season has been firing on all cylinders and all the pieces are coming together beautifully. It's the TV equivalent of Abbey Road. The Wire ended on a clunky note with its final season, *insert your least loved…
For oddly scary also see: Farmer in the City…and all of Tilt actually.
I started listening to Scott Walker after the AV Club rundown a few months ago. Great, great stuff.
I wouldn't be too disappointed if Natty Legs replaced Kulap permanently after that episode. Her and Kremer make a pretty great duo.
Let's Dance was just the start of the decline. Never Let Me Down was really the worst (1987), and no band would want that album…
But, was there any good rock music made in 1987? At least everyone was shit.
Well, if you're Andrew Dice Clay the most high profile gig you've had in the last 10-15 years is headlining the Albany Chuckle Hut. Regardless of what you may think of the quality of recent Woody Allen movies, they're certainly a step up.
