A couple of photos from the NML set have popped up on Instagram with future guests Mike Tyson and…David Letterman. When the shows will actually come out is anyone's guess.

He talks about Jaws being his favorite movie? Does Howard Kremer know about this?

Will definitely check this out. But my real question is: do people really say "on accident" instead of "by accident" now? Is this a new thing? A regional thing? I mean, what the hell is going on here??

Promising: Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey (if he's on his game)
Not promising: That EW cover image. Akiva Goldsman writing the script (he wrote Batman & Robin AND Lost in Space for God's sake). Stephen King likes the direction it's going.

A nice get? Doesn't the AV Club have a business arrangement with Comedy Central? That would explain the sentence "night after night of sharp political thought and satire." Which is not an opinion I've heard voiced by anyone about Noah's Daily Show.

Huh, I've been a regular CBB listener for years and I don't think I've picked up anything like that from Scott. Sure he'll rag on characters who have inconsistent histories…but he's always done that. He's seems to enjoy Hanford's John Lennon quite a lot…which he should.

Thanks! That first one from '82 (Why you wanna treat me so bad) appeals to me the most; more rock, less 80's drum machine. Is that a good Prince era?

That's what I've been told! Prince and Springsteen are my two big music blind spots. Bruce will be up first since he's on Spotify etc…

I'm in my 30's and I barely know any Prince songs…basically just "Kiss" (is that what it's called?) I watched him perform on some live show a few years ago and he was a hell of a performer/guitarist, so I'd like to check out his music if it were easily accessible. But if it's not, I'll survive without.

It's funny that he's hard on himself for his Iggy after he absolutely nails it. His Bruce is pretty solid too, I thought. Although I love just about any earnest Bruce impression, Scott Aukerman's included.

Yes! I find myself skipping the song "Heroes" since I've heard it soooo many times. I love Sons of the Silent Age, great lyrics. "Don't walk they just glide in and out of life/they never die they just go to sleep one day"

Ya I have a copy too and don't know where I downloaded it from. It was a semi-legit leak or something? There's some good stuff on it, like 'Hole in the ground' and 'Your turn to drive'. I think 'Conversation Piece' is on it too? But that's also on the Heathen extended disc. Fantastic song.

Lodger is fantastic. It's definitely 'weird' sounding and there isn't an obvious radio friendly single so that sort of explains how it gets over looked. Plus, the actual album cover is one of Bowie's worst, I think. Low and Heroes have such iconic cover art and then Lodger is just…not great. Doesn't help it stand out

Damn. This is the worst I've felt from a death that wasn't in my family. I really want to listen to Blackstar again but I'm afraid I'll start weeping at my desk.
But what a dude. He knew he was dying and what did he do? Go out with a whimper? Fuck no. He told no one, did no press, made one last great album, then died

If the non-instrumental tracks from Low and Heroes were on the same album (plus Speed of Life, New Career…, and V2 Schneider), that would be the best album ever put out by anyone.

Ya, lots of good stuff on Outside. I'm Deranged, I Have Not Been to Oxford Town, Strangers When We Meet, Hallo Spaceboy, Hearts Filthy Lesson. Rolling Stone blows.

You lucky bastard. When I heard them talking about it on Comedy Bang Bang I thought it was part of the joke. I'm jealous, I could listen to these guys talk nonsense for hours.

This is the best thing I've seen/heard this year. Bowie is 68…how is he doing this? Has any rock star come close to aging this well?

Holy hell, two 980s? You take your PC gaming seriously, my hat's off to you. Please tell me you have a couple of curved 34" monitors to take advantage of those things.

Fantastic band that shot themselves in the foot by choosing an awful, awful band name.
