That cartoon from the 30's with the flamingos?
Where a sleeping man dreams of a bustling city. One of the denizens of the city realizes that all of his reality is a dream. The dream man goes to the city council. The city council arranges for a group of men to go outside of the dream cloud and abduct the sleeping man.

I like the Granada tv series
with Jeremy Brett.

The tea party folks certainly don't seem to take criticism very well. I don't see a whole lot of cogent arguments coming from that side, just a lot of rabble rousing. I see a lot of placards about death panels and socialism, but no one seems to want to enter into a debate about it. I guess the anger is pretty deep.

You've lost yer way, Rabin.
This guy is really a tangent. Why give him the time of day?

I like the extras scene with all Steve Earle and friends sitting around the kitchen table singing the Mercenary Song.

There was an old biker bar in the Lower Haight in SF called the Armadillo. Whenever "You Never Even Called Me By My Name" came on the jukebox, all of the bar would spontaneously start singing it, even the bikers playing pool. Good times.

Zardoz II?
Electric Bugaloo. Why hasn't this film been made yet?

Hotter than Texas asphalt.

Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way?

Interesting social commentary on what it would be like to fight for the South…
But too many long, slow periods away from the action. Still, that is a part of war and conflict: what to do when away from the front lines.

I had no idea Leon Redbone was a badass…
Although I've always liked his music.

Live at the Witch Trials!
You speaky my language. Savay?

KFAT out of Gilroy, California…
…used to play these guys all the time. KFAT is now defunct but its spirit survives in KPIG. Yee-haw!

This Is Not a Love Song!
Then what is it?

It's a fine line…

White, but southern through and through. He knows his blues.

One of my dad's favorite artists
I think his work resounded with the beats and the early hippy generation. It's good stuff, regardless:

Hobo with a Shotgun
Where can I see that movie?
